Long Song Records proudly announces his first new project of 2007: a record by Giovanni Maier, one of the best (if not the best) jazz bass players in Italy. It will be recorded in February. Featuring: Zeno De Rossi (Zeno played with many great artists, take a look here) on drums, Giorgio Pacorig and Alfonso Santinone (www.elgallorojorecords.com/autori/) on various Keyboards and effects. This project will be a mix of strong riff oriented stuff with lots of dynamics and improvisations and written tunes as well.
Long Song Records è orgogliosa di annunciare il primo nuovo progetto del 2007: un album di Giovanni Maier, uno dei migliori (se non il migliore) contrabbassisti jazz italiani. Sarà registrato intorno al mese di Febbraio. La biografia di Giovanni Maier si trova nella sezione “artisti”. Featuring: Zeno De Rossi alla batteria (www.zenoderossi.com/bio_ita.htm), Giorgio Pacorig e Alfonso Santinone (www.elgallorojorecords.com/autori/) a diverse tastiere, sintetizzatori ed effetti. Questo progetto sarà un mix di musica abbastanza dura e “riff-oriented” con particolare attenzione alle dinamiche e all’improvvisazione, ma anche al materiale scritto.
